From Narita Airport, take the Keisei line railway. The train goes direct to Ueno and takes approximately 1 hour (and only 40mins on the Skyliner Express).
It is a 10 minute walk from Keisei Ueno station to the hotel. The simplest way is to take the underground walkway from Keisei Ueno station to Tokyo Metro Ueno station, and leave the Metro station at Exit 3 (see the map below). On leaving Exit 3, keeping the Nissay building on your right, walk to the corner between that building and the Joyo Bank (ízâs). Turn right at the corner, and we are down that side street, just over the first set of traffic lights on the left hand side. If you have heavy luggage, it may be easier to leave Tokyo Metro Ueno station using the elevator located between Exits 2 and 3 (see the map below).

- Ueno is famous for Ueno Zoo, Ameyoko Market and Ueno Park.
Ueno Zoo, the largest in Japan, is popular with families, and will soon be receiving giant pandas as a further attraction. Ueno Park is famous in springtime for its spectacular cherry blossoms and throughout the year for its many museums. "Ameyoko" meaning "Candy Lane" or "American" is the local shopping precinct and street market offering cosmetics, clothes, sporting goods, shoes and even fresh fish. 
- Asakusa is popular spot with many tourists, offering the authentic atmosphere of traditional Japan. Asakusa is most famous for the historic Sensoji Temple which was built in the 7th century. Leading up to the temple is a street lined with shopping stalls, known as Nakamise shopping street. It offers an array of amusing and practical souvenirs.
- Akihabra is world famous for its many electronic and gaming stores.
Specialty electronic stores offer many products such as laptop computers, cameras, mobile phones, gaming consoles, household appliances and home entertainment systems. In recent times Akihabara has become well known for being home to shops selling anime and manga cartoon goods, and also has the famous gAkihabara maid cafesh. 
- Shinjuku is one of the largest shopping, business and entertainment districts in Japan. Shinjuku station is the worldfs busiest station with well over 3 million people passing through it every day.
- Ginza is known for its high class shopping district and its upmarket restaurants and entertainment.
- Shibuya/Harajuku is a popular area for shopping and eating with the younger
generation. Shibuya is well known for having one of the busiest intersections in Japan, overlooked by large TV screens placed on surrounding buildings. The area is also famous for fashion, Shibuya having the Shibuya 109 store and Harajuku having its weekend gatherings of young Japanese wearing outlandish clothes. 
- Tokyo Sky Tree tower is a new observatory and broadcasting tower which is currently under construction. It is due to open in the spring of 2012. Located east of Asakusa, the tower will be 634m in height, with an observation platform at 450 metres. Tokyo Sky Tree tower is visible form some of the hotelfs rooms.
